Update - A significant amount of new email and those that show a 'Processed' or 'Deferred' status have been successfully Delivered. You may still see some emails show as ‘Deferred’ initially; also, only about 1% of those emails end up as 'Bounced' (typically with certain email domains). These will need to be resent.

If you see 'Processed' as an email status, double check with the email history link to confirm it hasn't been delivered.

Emails previously marked 'Processed' or 'Deferred' are now successfully making their way through the system. Emails that are 'Bounced' did not make it to their destination. We're working closely with our email delivery provider to solve this issue, while continuing to block accounts from sending additional spam and implementing additional security measures. Identified - Our email delivery provider blocked emails through ShootProof on May 25th and we feel it's important to be transparent. This happened because a few accounts sent spam email through ShootProof. As email deliverability began to recover, a second round of spam emails was sent. Because of that, as of Sunday, June 1, emails are being blocked and/or deferred by our email provider.

We're working tirelessly with our email delivery provider to solve this issue, while also blocking accounts from sending additional spam. In the coming days, you may experience temporary security measures, like a reCAPTCHA when sending emails. We appreciate your understanding around these additional steps.

Work arounds for getting links to clients:

Gallery Links: Once your gallery is ready for your client, you’ll click on Preview Gallery. A new tab should open in your browser. Copy the URL of this new tab, where the gallery is, and send this link to your client directly through your email service.

Mobile App Links: Once your mobile app is ready to be sent to your client, click on Share > Copy app download link (right next to the Button Text field). This will automatically copy the URL to install the mobile app. Send this link to your client directly through your email service.

Download Link - Purchased/Placed an Order: On the client’s order page directly, click on Order Summary > Download Link. A new tab will open in your browser where you’ll be prompted to provide an email address (the email address the client used when they placed their order). Copy the URL of this page and send this link to your client directly through your email service.

Download Link - Free Digitals Download Link: Once the client has made the request to download their images from the gallery, an email will be generated and sent that you can find for them on your Email page.

Go to Studio > Email > Search & Filter by the client’s email address they used in the gallery. Find the email titled “Zip File of Photos from..” > click on View Email inline with it > Start Download. A new tab will open in your browser where you’ll be prompted to provide an email address (the email address the client used when they requested to download). Copy the URL of this page and send this link to your client directly through your email service.

Contract Links: Once you’ve created your contract and are ready to send it to your client, click on the Email Client button. Send this message so that your contract will switch from Draft to Awaiting Signature. Then, click on Actions > Preview. A new tab will open in your browser where you’ll be prompted to provide an email address (the email address you’ve entered as the Linked Contact). Copy the URL of this page and send this link to your client directly through your email service.

Invoice Links: Once you’ve created your invoice and are ready for your client to view or pay, click on the Preview button. A new tab will open in your browser where you’ll be prompted to provide an email address (the email address you’ve entered as the Linked Contact). Copy the URL of this page and send this link to your client directly through your email service.

We recognize that this is impacting the ability to send gallery links, deliver downloads, and more through your account, and we know how frustrating this must be when you're trying to deliver work to your clients and run your business (to say it’s been frustrating is an understatement!).

Update - While email deliverability is making great progress in returning to it's normal state, we realize that the issues are not fully resolved. We continue to work directly with with email providers to see what additional steps can be taken to get back to full email processing. Unfortunately, some domains are seeing more deferred emails than others.

Our team continues to take as many steps as possible to get this fully corrected for ShootProof studios, your clients, and mitigate this from occurring in the future.
